The foundation wall of this screened porch in Powhatan, VA was being pushed away from the home.
The original construction consisted of brick, 4 inch block, and was lacking rebar. The area behind
the porch was back-filled almost 8 feet high with gravel.

The masonry wall was not sufficient to withstand the load and subsequently was separated and
leaning away from the main structure.
